The BBC are going through the process of rolling out a new BBC iPlayer starting with the web version and coming soon to TVs. The iPlayer mobile apps have been updated but they haven’t got the new version just yet. The iOS version fixes issues with the Accessibility features and they have added variable speed scrubbing to the playback making it much easier to rewind and fast forward programmes. The updated app is free from the iTunes Store
The Android version just gets bug fixes and you can find the app in the Google Play Store.

not sure, I will have a look. There are plenty out there but not sure the quality of them.
Thanks Mr Dixon! I’ve got a good paid for proxy account, but I’m looking for settings just for the iPlayer. The Wii does this, most don’t.
