Microsoft have updated the Windows 8.1 Xbox Music and Xbox Video apps. The Xbox Music app has a couple of changes, when you add music to a playlist it no longer adds it to your collection so you can manage the song separately. Microsoft say it’s easier to reorder your playlists you can move a song to the top or bottom with a single click. There is also the usual reliability and performance options.
The Xbox Video app only has a minor update. Microsoft say there are “Featured Sets” which are curated lists of Films and TV sets, I couldn’t actually find the featured sets so it may not be available in all regions.
