Google Play Music for the iPhone updated

Google Play Music on iOS

Google have updated the iOS Google Play Music app adding many of the features previously only available in the Android edition. Google say the UI has been updated for iOS 7, personal I couldn’t see any changes to the UI. What is new is I’m feeling lucky radio which creates a random playlist based on your music collection, something I use pretty often. Also added are auto-playlists, genre radio stations for All Access subscribers and the ability to search for genres.

The app is still only iPhone only so you have to use the x2 button on an iPad which is a real shame.
The app is free from the iTunes Store.

What’s New in Version 1.1.0.988

- UI updated for iOS7
- Added support for I’m feeling lucky radio
- Auto-playlists (including Thumbs Up playlist) added to playlist view
- Genre radio stations added for All Access users
- Added ability to search for genres
