ITV Player for Android updated to 3.1 and officially available for all Android devices

The ITV Player for Android had been exclusive deal with Samsung so only Samsung devices could use the app. Last week a minor update seemed to remove the Samsung limitation and today ITV have officially opened up the app to all Android devices (Running Android 2.2 and up). ITV do have a list of tested devices but it should work on any Android device.

Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3, Galaxy S3 Mini, Galaxy S4, Ace2, Galaxy Note (original), Galaxy Note2
Samsung Tablets
Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
Nexus 7, Nexus 10
One S, One X

With the app you can watch catch up TV from ITV, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and CITV. The app is free from the Google Play Store.

What’s New

Version 3.1.0 of ITV Player is now available to all Android devices.
