Today Cyberlink have launched PoweDVD 13 the latest version of its DVD and Blu-ray software. Version 13 includes lots of improvements like support for 4k ultra HD and a TrueTheater mode which enhances the colour and lighting of videos to make Blue-ray and HD movies look even better. Its designed to upscale existing content to look great on some of the new HD screen running at 2560×1440 and will upscale video formats like MKV and MP4.
It has a Instand Play mode then enables Blu-ray movies start up to 58% faster with CyberLink’s BD-Live bypass option, the load speed is something which really bugs me about Blu-rays so this looks a great feature. There are also DNLA improvements, enhanced subtitle features, a new movie library and lots of UI improvements.
