NETGEAR N750 Dual Band Router

If you’re streaming HD video around the home you need a good router. The NETGEAR N750 Wifi Gibabit router works with the 5GHZ range and NETGEAR say that you can get up to 450Mbps transfer speeds. The router has 4 gigabit ports, USB for storage sharing, parental controls and traffic metering.

In this video I test copying a file using my existing 802.11G router, testing at the 2.4GHZ range and then at 5GHZ range. I also take a look at the NETGEAR Genie app which is an iOS and Android app you can use for configuring and monitoring the network.

So can really make a difference to network performance?
