It’s that time of year, Christmas hangovers, New Year ‘s Eve parties and Media Center guide data problems. In January the guide data disappeared and it looks like the problem is back as there is no data for 2013. Last year the it took a couple of weeks for Microsoft to fix the problem and hopefully they will get the data back soon.
If you’re using inband guide data from the Freeview signal you should get around 7 days of EPG data for now.

@isdixon guide data been gone in Ireland for about a month now. No signs of a fix. Microsoft giving up on wmc?
@isdixon don’t understand how they can make wmc a paid add on in win 8 and then not maintain support for it. No guide = no WAF whatsoever!

Is there anyone to contact to ensure it gets resolved before we run out of data or is the following the only way to report (https://connect.microsoft.com/site1145/feedback/details/775012/no-uk-guide-data-past-01-01-2013)? May-be the more who vote on it the more likely they will do something.
I have reported the problem via our MVP link so hopefully it should be fixed soon
I’m still using MCE2005 Rollup 2 but this is the first time I’ve had this problem. “About Guide” under settings says (c) 2012 suggesting the latest version but says my guide expires 01/01/2013 at 11:00.
