Skype continue to add Microsoft account support to the various Skype clients, the latest app to be updated is the Android version which gets the Microsoft Account support, improved audio as well as a new Metro style look and feel for tablets. I like the look on the new app but on a tablet it forces you into Landscape mode which seems a bit on when I use my Nexus 7 in portrait mode most of the time. On a phone it works fine in portrait.

You can get the app from Google Play

What’s in this version:

Sign in and merge with your Microsoft account
Brand new design for tablets
Improved audio quality
Bug fixes
