Sky have updated the iPad Sky Sports app and added Football Companion features. The features look similar to the F1 companion where you get real time information during the event. There will be real time information like number of shots on target, passes etc as well as twitter feeds, stats and commentary.
The F1 companion is really nice so I expect the Football Companion will be popular with Football fans.
The app is free from iTunes but you do need a Sky Sports subscription to access the content.
