Not sure what to make of this story, it’s reported that Windows Phone code named “Tango” the new version of Windows Phone aimed bringing lower spec devices to Windows Phone is going to be branded Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh. The story comes from windowsphoneitaly.com which is saying that the head of Windows Phone in Italy confirmed the new name so how reliable the story is I am not so sure. Most enthusiast still call the current version of Windows Phone Mango but Microsoft actually call it Windows Phone 7.5 and for the minor “Tango” update I would have thought 7.51 or 7.6 would make more sense but when it comes to naming trying to predict Microsoft is a difficult game.
