T-Mobile’s unlimited plan not so unlimited

Last week I wrote about T-Mobile’s “Full Monty Plan” that was promised unlimited data and calls. Well it looks like its no so unlimited when you see the small print. While the data allowance is unlimited there is a catch, they are throttling the download speed to 1MB/S

Via a comment on their Twitter feed they said

So it will be ok for email, Twitter and Facebook it’s not so good for things like video streaming which would be kind of defeat the object of the plan. So once again it looks like the network operators either fail to understand customers needs or think they can pull a fast one over users.
