T-Mobile launch bandwidth cap free “The Full Monty” plan

image

I remember just a few years ago I could use as much mobile data as I wanted, tethered my phone at no extra cost and never heard of bandwidth caps. But in the last few years mobile operators have got more restrictive with bandwidth and monthly limits mean that at the end of the month I get text messages telling me I have used my allocation.

T-Mobile have just launched an unlimited plan called “The Full Monty” that includes unlimited calls, text and data priced at £36 per month for a two year contract.  The plans also included unlimited tethering. I hope this means that O2 and Vodafone come up with a similar plan and we see an end to the annoying bandwidth caps soon.

With the crappy bandwidth I get on my home broadband it could actually work out better using a mobile phone for my home connection.
