Nokia Lumia 900 could be launched at CES this week

A report in the New York Times today says that Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone the Lumia 900 will be launched at CES this week, probably tomorrow. In a pretty interesting post the Times talks about how Windows Phone is a hit with “technorati” and has the story on show Microsoft started over with Windows Phone after releasing that the old Windows Mobile could no longer cut it in against the iPhone. Also in the article it says that Nokia are going to introduce the Lumia 900 phone tomorrow which is said to be the rumoured Nokia “Ace” with 4.3 inch WVGA display, 512MB RAM, an 8 megapixel camera. To go along with the new phone there will be a big marketing push from Microsoft, Nokia and AT&T.

On Monday at theInternational Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nokia plans to introduce a sleek metallic Windows Phone called the Lumia 900 that will be sold by AT&T in the United States, according to two people with knowledge of its plans who spoke on condition of anonymity because the product has not yet been announced. Unlike other handset makers creating devices with Microsoft’s software, Nokia is not also developing Android phones.

I will be at CES so hopefully will get to take a look at the new phone and report back
