Amazon reduce price of the 2nd gen Apple TV, new device on the way?

NewImage

While I don’t use my Apple TV all the time I do quite like it, its compact and is a nice way to bring music and videos to a TV.  If you then add 3rd party software like aTV Flash you can do quite a bit with it and Amazon have reduced the price from £99 to £91 so its one of the cheapest media devices around. There are rumours that the reason for the price drop is that there is a new Apple TV on the way, Amazon in the US have rechristened it the ’2010′ mode) and the new version could bee powered by Siri the voice control system on the iPhone 4S. Probably what is more likely is that there will be a spec bump with the new device having a A5 chip and 1080p playback.
