Xbox 360 4GB Console

Microsoft have been talking about getting TV into the Xbox 360 for some time, we have Sky content already here in the UK and today Microsoft announced a huge list of TV partners that will be coming to the Xbox 360.  As far as UK content goes there is the BBC, Sky, Channel 4, Channel 5, LOVEFilm and MSN.

The best thing about the new deal is that many channels (including BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5) don’t require Xbox LIVE Gold subscriptions. Check out the list bellow, I can’t wait to see how they implement it. This is one reason why Windows Media Center is being downplayed at Microsoft.

  1. Hi Ian,

This is good news – do you think this means BBC on demand through the iplayer? Hopefully….if not then we can already get this as the Xbox working as a Microsoft Extender.

  2. I was initially excited by this news then realised I wasn’t really struggling for ways to access iplayer lol… Freesat HD, BLUray, HTPC, iPAD, IPHONE, LAPTOPS, ITOUCH’s etc.etc.
