Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 is ready

Microsoft have finished Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. The update should be available in a couple of weeks and is mainly a roll up of fixes rather than having new features but the service does have RemoteFX which is a graphics acceleration platform with remote desktop that could be interesting for virtual Windows Media Center machines. HP TouchPad

HP had a big launch for their TouchPad, HP’s iPad challenger based on the Palm WebOS which they purchased last year looks pretty nice and it will be interesting to see how well it does in the market. I know the TDL Mobile guys are going to be talking about it on their next show
