I’ve been asked by anumber of people which 3D format the new Virgin Media On Demand content uses. I had a chance to try it out last night and, like the Sky TV 3D broadcasts, it is using side by side. The quality is pretty good even though it is obviously losing half the horizontal resolution. Not much on their at the moment but there is one 3D trailer you can test your set-up on for free.
