Media Center TV Stitch Add-in

Rick Draach has a great new app out for Windows Media Center that creates playlists from consecutive recordings of the same channel. So if you recorded back to back shows from the same channel the addin will create a playlist of both shows, great for when you record an evening’s TV from one channel. One example is recording the football game and one or two shows following in case it goes into extra time.  With “Stitch” you can play them and then delete them all as a unit.

The addin is in beta and is free at the moment, it can be downloaded from Rich’s site. I am going to give it a try today

Automatic TV playlist generator and player.

This Media Center add-in searches all the folders and subfolders in the Media Center Watched Folder List for consecutive recordings on the same channel.

Consecutive recordings are recordings on the same channel where the end time of one is less than a 10 second difference from the start time of the next recording.  There can be any number of consecutive recordings in a group.
