This is a short video looking at how to get TV on the PC with Windows Media Center and a USB Avermedia TV tuner. The new tuner is a AVerTV Hybrid Volar HX-TV Tuner for designed for Windows Media Center, the price of the tuner is £59.99 on Amazon
I replaced my existing Nova-TD USB tuner which I had been having signal issues and other problems with and to my surprise the Avermedia tuner is working much better, unfortunately its only a single tuner but its reception is way better than the Nova-T and didn’t have any the of the issues I had with missed recordings. The tuner is designed for Windows 7 and the drivers are built in to Windows 7.
This video looks at installing the tuner and walking through the Windows Media Center TV setup
