There are many ways of watching TV in Windows Media Center that don’t require a TV tuner and with new addins like the Sky Player and Internet TV it looks like Microsoft are pushing Media Center in the IPTV direction. However you don’t have to wait for the new addins to watch TV on Windows Media Center, Sarah Perez on Channel 9 has published a guide to some of the many 3rd party TV apps for Media Center. The guide includes TunerFreeMCE, Boxee, SecondrunTV and many others and it really highlights the power of Windows Media Center.
