The Custom Integrator Show Installment 01C is live. Ian and I discuss my trip to CEDIA in Atlanta. I try to put more of a technical spin on Microsoft’s announcements instead of just reviewing the Microsoft press releases. I will say that the news is exciting – and that it’s all good, baby!
We must remember that CEDIA is not like CES or EHX. It really is about training and certifications for the integration channel. The show floor and press announcements are secondary to the educational aspects. In that vein, I would like to thank the twenty-five or so attendees of my session on Networking for Media and Content Distribution. I thought it went well and we covered more ground than we were able to on the previous Installments covering networking in general. For those members in the MCIA, the session materials for all of the MCIA-hosted courses will be posted on the MCIA Members Only site in the near future.
