Suspect this will be taken down soon. Someone sneaked some video at the GDGT event last night where MS were demoing the UI for the Zune HD when connected to a big screen using HDMI from the dock. All very interesting – no sign of a media center extender 🙁 but also no telling if this is the final interface. Does look very quick though.

That video is hard to watch. Not sure what I am supposed to take away from it other than
1) You can buy HD movies and load them on your Zune
2) You can connect the Zune via HDMI to a TV.
Not clear that this translates into streaming from Media Center, connecting into a PC-based home video solution.
Am I missing something?
Agreed – I only posted this because of the huge interest. The guys undercover filming really is a bit all over the place but at least it gives a flavour of the interface. I don’t think you are missing anything.
