First look at Windows Home Server Power Pack 3 (beta) Windows Media Center Addin

One of the main features of features of the new Windows Home Server Power Pack 3 beta is the much improved Windows Media Center integration. Not only is there a 10 foot version of the Home Server Console there is automatic archiving of Recorded TV shows. In this video I take a look at installing the addin and have a look how it works.

    Ian,

    Do you know if you will be able to archive protected content off a cable card set up and play it on multiple PC’s around the home with this new power pack? It would solve two issues for me 1) I could use WHS to store all recorded tv saving precious hard drive space on my PC’s and 2) Essentially allow distributed recorded tv around the house.
