Trouble with the DTV transition and Windows Media Center

Looks like Microsoft have fumbled the DTV transition and managed to break some of the channels in Windows Media Center, there are work arounds if your affected but you have to wonder how the issues got under the radar as its not like there was plenty of notice. Media Center lives and dies by the quality of the guide data and the WAF gets a massive hit when it fails to record.

If you affected checkout the thread on TGB and checkout Ed Bott’s post with the great comment from Doug Anderson “However, as my wife observed: Media Center users and little old ladies appear to be the only ones adversely affected by the changeover.”
