Microsoft introduce Touch Pack for Windows 7

On the Windows Team Blog they have announced a Touch Pack for Windows 7. The pack is a set of applications that show off the multi-touch features of Windows 7. At CES I saw a multi-touch enabled version of Virtual Earth which was very fun to use and these set of application look very nice.

The applications include:

  • Microsoft Surface Globe
  • Microsoft Surface Collage
  • Microsoft Surface Lagoon
  • Microsoft Blackboard
  • Microsoft Rebound
  • Microsoft Garden Pond

I can’t wait to try them on the HP TouchSmart but unfortunately they are not available for download, according to the blog they will be pre-installed by OEM on multi-touch enabled machines with the possibility of being available for download in the future
