CLaRGe on TheGreenButton forums is looking for testers of his new application called tubeCore, its  designed to work with PlayOn, TVersity, Twonky and other DLNA servers. The application which is in alpha is a free download that enables watching of Internet TV shows. They are looking for testers with Extenders so if you interested download the app from tubecentric.tv

tubeCore is a DLNA Video Receiver for Microsoft Windows Media Center.

tubeCore makes video from DLNA Media Servers such as Tversity, PlayOn, and TwonkyMedia available from within your Windows Media Center.

Now you can watch Internet TV shows on your TV using tubeCore

  1. Been using PlayOn for a while and giving PlayIt a try in Media Center. Going to give this one a try too.
    I really like these things in concept but there are a lot of pieces that need to be working for it all to work well. Extenders add another piece to the puzzle.

  2. PlayOn is awesome.. Tversity is pretty good to. You know you can get Hulu, YouTube, CBS, The Food Network, HGTV, Podcasts, NFL, NBA and more with PlayOn now. I love it.. It works on your Xbox 360 or PS3.. I have even gotten it to work on the Original Xbox with XBMC.. I am not sure if this TubeCore will live up to that.
