I blogged about new beta of Media Browser last week and nunosilva in The Digital Lifestyle.com forums has posted a nice video overview of the new build. I really like the UI in this new version it looks great and it really adds to the media capabilities of Windows Media Center

I think auto update has been switched off, due to this version requiring .NET 3.5.

yerp, I switched off auto updates (at least for a few weeks) while our customer base upgrades to 3.5, will re-enable the auto updates fairly soon.
Also make sure you download 2.0.11 which fixes some glitches in 2.0.10
