Media Browser Beta 10

One very cool application for Windows Media Center is Media Browser and today Jas has revealed details of version beta 10. The first thing about new the build is that its .NET 3.5 only and it has a new vanilla theme and I must say it’s looking fantastic. In a few weeks time I will be talking with the Jas and Sam from the development team at Media Browser for an interview on [tmcs]

I tried it with Windows 7 build 7048 but get a configuration error. Will or when will this work with Windows 7 MCE ?

7048 isn’t a public build of Windows 7. This isn’t our bug, it’s a problem with something that ships in 7048.

Not only is it not our bug I just put a workaround in place to fix this. Which is available in 2.0.11 (which I just released)

Looks like the assembly loader completely explodes when it tries to load up media center assemblies.

I would not be using these Windows 7 builds for anything but testing, stick to public releases
