Microsoft looking for sports bloggers for Media Center feedback

Microsoft are looking to get feedback from bloggers to share how they use TV on their PC. It look interesting, Media Center should be the best way to watch sports with its internet connection and the power of the PC so hopefully the bloggers can give Microsoft some good feedback. I watch Formula One with my laptop by my side and I know I am not the only one. If you want to help Microsoft you have to apply by February 25th.

Are you a sports blogger? Do you follow one team, one league or a multitude of professional sports?

We’re looking for sports bloggers to share with Microsoft how they experience TV on their PCs and give feedback on Windows Media Center.

Once we’ve had a chance to have a chat about your blog, TV viewing experience and how you receive your sports content, we will invite you to attend a special tour to Microsoft’s campus in Redmond, Washington  to meet with the developers of the Sports Channel for Windows Media Center. You’ll also have access to exclusive beta tests for Sports content.

We’ll spend some time picking your brain, getting your feedback and having you share your experience directly with the people who create sports content features in Windows Media Center. Also you’ll get beta tests of new developments in sports applications/features in Windows Media Center that the public wouldn’t have access to?

I am a hude sports fan and a huge Media Center fan. However, media centers’ lack of HD options have left me to use Satellite to watch Sports. HD is the only way to watch sports.
However, I do like the sports screen in media center, it is just that on game days media center isn’t on :(

If Microsoft wants a killer app for Media Center and Sports Fans, they need to figure out a way to partner up with ESPN and add a Media Center version of ESPN 360 to their online TV apps. Many times it’s the only way to follow my teams. The video is more than acceptable for watching sporting events. It’s not HD, but you can follow the action.
