Ed Bott has a noticed that the Windows 7 page on Microsoft.com that has a link to download the Windows 7 Beta which at the moment doesn’t go anywhere. My guess is a beta will be out for Steve Ballmer’s kenote at CES on January 7th (which I will be attending) and that maybe a smaller group of tester could get hold of the beta before Christmas.
Windows 7 Beta would be a very nice Christmas present from Microsoft !
UPDATE: The download link has been removed and I am sticking by January 7th but maybe some early access for selected testers
