HP digiframe / slate PC hybrid device?

Engadget have an interesting rumour about HP developing a combined photo frame / internet companion device. According to the post the unit would be a digital photo frame that can double as a kind of slate PC with a full web browser, email client, RSS reader and other applications powered with a Intel Atom CPU, 10 inch panel and wifi. If the story is true I think this would be an interesting device especially with a touch screen and with it running a full web browser it could work with browser based home automation solutions. HP do seem to be investing in alternatives to the standard Windows experiences with the touch based UI on the TouchSmart PC range so the rumour does make sense. Would you pay $400 for a devices like this?
