Connect your Xbox 360 to Twitter

I was looking for people to follow on Twitter the other day and using Twitter search I typed in “Media Center””.  I found loads of updates from people saying they were watching Media Center content on their Xbox 360.  I though to myself, I want a piece of that.

I’ve just done some digging and Duncan Mackenzie has created a neat little application that can do it for you.  You’ll find it on his blog.  It’s really simple to setup, just install it onto a machine, poke your Gamer Tag details and Twitter account details in and it’ll watch your Tag for changes and update your Twitter account.

Another alternative is to use twee60.com to do it for you, it does what Duncan’s tool does but it’s always live in the cloud…the only downside is it’s slightly out of your control.  XBox Live Nation has slightly more interesting version with a wall of peoples tweets.

So now you can let everyone know what you’re playing, or what you are watching if you’re using your 360 as an extender.
