Asus are launching a new all in one touchscreen PC that could have some interesting uses around the home. It’s not quite up to the spec of HP’s TouchSmart, its more like the spec of a EEE PC but with a 15.6 inch screen it would make a nice device for controlling home automation and web surfing. It comes with Windows XP Home, 1.6Ghz Atom processor and 1GB of ram so don’t expect to be running Vista Media Center on it but it would work with some of the PC based remote control apps and applications like mControl that have a web based UI. At £399.99 from Play it’s not that expensive and for the enthusiast has some interesting potential
