On Microsoft’s consumer electronics blog they have posted part two of the Media Center university video. This is a presentation given by Mike Seamons at EHX Spring 2008 and the video shows optimizing Windows Media Center, connecting with a Zune and removing unnecessary software

    Wow, watching that, I realized that I already do alot of what he talks about with pointing the my music folder and what not to a centralized storage. As for right now I have my Media Center PC, which is my only PC and my Home Server, and I have pointed those folders, Music, videos, and picture folders, to the Home server. To get around the syncing that Vista wants to do with network shares, I mapped those folders to drives, and actually pointed those folders to those remote drives.
