iPlayer MCE is a Vista Media Center addin that enables watching BBC iplayer content directly from Windows Media Center and Martin Millmore has added Channel 4 downloads as the latest feature. Channel 4 recently launched a Watch Online service, which offers the last 7 days of TV programs to watch online (via WMV which works great on Media Center). Windows Media Center should be the platform that all Media companies targets, as it’s the ideal platform to host their IPTV based services unfortunately Channel 4 and the BBC have avoided it so far and it’s been left to developers like Martin to add these features.
