How do you take your media with you?

Most of us use Media Center centrally store our content, it could be TV, music, picture and DVDs . So what about accessing this content when your out and about? I have another a number of different ways of accessing my content. I have my Zune 30 which I use for all my music and podcasts, they all automatically sync so I don’t have to think about it. For video if I am planning to be out and mainly offline I sync a selection of recorded TV shows with the Zune, the Zune is great for watching TV shows while on he move like, but due to the slow transcoding speed you have to plan what show you want to take with you as an hour show can take 30 minutes to copy over, so if your in a hurry it’s not going to work for. The other way I take video with me is copying recorded TV shows on to my UMPC or Tablet PC, this is faster than copying to the Zune and the screen is obviously better. My Tablet PC is great for watching movies on and as is my Samsung Q1. The other method of accessing the content is with a streaming service like Orb, this requires no pre-planning at all as you can play any recorded TV file via the browser, obviously you need an Internet connection for this to work

So my question to you is what works best for you? How could Media Center and Windows work better for you to access your content whereever you are connected or not?

Ideally Archos would release a plug-in to support DVR-MS and then it would be perfect. Seems obvious to me but no sign of one yet…

I had been using orb and webguide with great success. I then got a OCUR system which effectively disabled all streaming of recorded tv’s.
