WegotServed.co.uk review Alienware’s HD Media Server

Over on Wegotserver.co.uk Richard Hay got to review Alienware’s High Definition Media Server. While WeGotServed normally focus on Windows Home Server Alienware’s Media Server is actually a Windows Vista Home Premium machine which makes it an excellent Windows Media Center Server. At $7000 it’s not a cheap unit but it has a great spec. Check out the review and unboxing pictures

Alienware is known for its ALX line of desktop and laptop gaming machines and has expanded that powerhouse mentality to the digital home.  Just for clarification – the HDMS is not a Windows Home Server (WHS) machine.  This thing runs Windows Vista Home Premium and is intended to be a data storage focal point for your digital home and life
