Joe Belfiore, Corporate Vice President of Entertainment and Devices eHome Division at Microsoft will be giving a keynote at Digitalife 2007 where Microsoft will be reveling more details on the V2 Media Center Extenders and the new beta Internet TV Service.
This will be the first proper public look at the version 2 extenders that a lot of people are waiting for. You can watch the event live via the Internet and it will be made available for On Demand viewing after the keynote. It has been a long wait for the v2 Extenders so it will be great to see them being demonstrated. PLUS! This weeks Media Center Show features an interview with Microsoft about the new Extenders, just in time for the launch, so check that out Thursday.
Joe Belfiore will introduce the PC to the TV at the Microsoft keynote at DigitalLife 2007. Come experience how the new Extenders for Windows Media Center and Internet TV can extend your digital life by bringing all your photos, music, and live and recorded television to the TVs around your home. New Extender devices will be unveiled with partners (and a new one will be announced!) and details will be revealed on Internet TV, an exciting new beta feature for Windows Media Center. Belfiore will demonstrate how Extenders allow easy access to premium cable high-definition TV in every room of the house, along with online entertainment, home movies and more. He will also give a first look at Internet TV for Windows Media Center, which will offer over one hundred hours of ad-supported entertainment on demand – including full-length shows, music concerts and movie trailers – for free.
