I know its almost a year since the last get together but the UG is coming back with another meeting later this year. We are working on the agenda and the location so this is where I need your feedback on where, when and what.

  • What is the best location for you?
  • Evening or daytime?
  • What topics would you like to see?
Leave a comment and let me know so we can start planning the event

To kick the discussion off

Somewhere more central - Manchester is great but it really means staying over for those of us in the midlands and those from london.

I would prefer a wekend day so that we could get more subjects in perhaps with breakout sessions so that people could choose what they are interested in

I'd prefer either weekday evening or weekend day.

The location depends to a degree on the evening/day decision as well. People can travel further for a day then they can for an evening. I think it has to be the Midlands because of this. Aston was fine for me. Another central location, and I think I suggested it last time, the F1 Museum at Donington has conference facilities!

I'll refresh my memory on the topics last year to remember what worked well, then I'll comment on that question.

Any more news/progress on when/where/what format this is likely to take?

Looking forward to this meeting if it goes ahead.

For me I am pretty flexible on location, provided it is UK based :)
