For Media Center the FloppyDTV DVB-S device with built in CI from www.digital-everywhere.com works great with a Dragon or T.Rex CAM & Sky subscription card. There are other cards without CI that can be configured for just the Free To Air channels but the ease of use, stability & manufacturer support of the FloppyDTV device make it worth the extra money. I have a system running 100% reliably with 2xFloppyDTV & Dragon CAMs & FreeTV cards. The smartcard is available for a one-off payment of 20 pounds for UK residents to decrypt Channel 4, five, five US, five Life & Sky Three.
Digital-everywhere have just this week released a DVB-S2 device.
BTW The satellites are at 28.2E You can see here a list of all the FTA channels http://www.lyngsat.com/28east.html there are other pages with details of the Sky channels on that site too.
