Auto zoom function Live-TV

One thing I would like to see improved in Vista is the zoom function with Live-TV. There are 4 zoom function available but you have to do this manually. Why can't this be done automaticly like any modern TV set can?

 

I cannot agree more with you on this.  Even low end TV's have had autozoom since the introduction of 16:9 contents 10-12 years ago.

I posted a question on TGB if it was possible to develop such a thing as a plugin. But it seems not to be possible to change the zoom mode from the API.

I agree I would like to see this feature along with subtitles and m-heg support added
