Changing categories at the top of Netflix app

 

There is some confusion on how to change the categories at the top of Microsoft’s new Netflix app.

I will show you how.

Categories cannot be changed in the Netflix app itself you will have to go to NetFlix.com to do that Log on to your Netflix account.

Then go to “Popular Genres” it’s at the bottom of Netflix main page (see screenshot below).

Then pick the categories you want the maximum number in Microsoft’s Netflix app is 4, if you pick more than 4 categories the 5th will not show up.

thanks for that lol. Do you not think it should be possible to see all the genre's some how in Microsoft's Netflix add-in. Why are we limited to only 4 ?

Not sure, at one point I was seeing 6 categories but the last two categories have changed to the name “Like” e.g.  “Like Monty Python”

I am now seeing 9 Genres and 3 Like...... pivots now maybe they have increased them.
