EventPhone is an EventGhost Client for the iPhone/iPod Touch, it’s a native iPhone application that allows you to control Windows Media Center and other Windows applications like Windows Media Player and iTunes. The application is by Melloware the developers of Intelliremote and works with EventGhost an open source automation tool for Windows. The iPhone app is priced at $9.99 from the Apple App Store

More details from on Melloware’s site:

Why use EventPhone iPhone Client?

  • Complete control of all your Windows applications from your iPhone.
  • No "line-of-sight" needed to control your Home Theatre PC which may be stored in a closet or somewhere esle out of the way in your house.
  • While Apple has provided an iPhone remote for ITunes...what about the rest of us that don't use ITunes but want to control our media center PC?
  • You are already using EventGhost to control your home automation such as X10 or high end stereo receiver. Take it to the next level.
  • Virtual Keyboard to give you another 93 possible EventGhost events to respond to.
  • Finally make Apple and Microsoft play nicely together. Can't we all just get along?
