CEPro: Don’t Expect big news on the TV Pack at CEDIA

There has been a lot speculation that Microsoft will make some kind of announcement about the TV Feature Pack at CEDIA next month and according to CE Pro there may be nothing to say. They quote Microsoft’s Kevin Collins saying that:

"I know there has been big speculation about a big announcement, but we're not really doing anything [around TV Pack]," Collins says.
He says that CE Pro's story on TV Pack pretty much covered it.

I think Microsoft are playing down the significance of the TV pack mainly down to the disappointment of the community around the lack of availability of the update. They have put themselves in a difficult situation now, trying to downplay the pack to the enthusiast while selling the new features to custom installers.
