Remind Me for MCE is a new Vista Media Center application that will remind you about important events all from the 10 foot Media Center UI. Written in MCML (so Vista only) you can enter reminder details and then check your schedule from Media Center and have Media Center pop up with the reminders. 

The application is free download (registration may be required) and more details on MCEZone.com

Generally I use my cell phone for reminders, So from now I can use media center also for this.

Mcezone also have different add-ons including this .
