Here is a top tip from the forums that I thought was worth posting. It's a complete list of Media Center keyboard shortcuts:

A friend of mine gave me a little book on VMC and XBOX 360 etc. It contained a list of all the keyboard shortcuts for VMC, thought this might be useful information to post.

Open Windows Media Center or return to Windows Media Center start screen  Windows Key+ALT+ENTER

Close Windows Media Center    ALT+F4

Accept the selection    ENTER

Go back to the previous screen    BACKSPACE

Go to the first item in a list    HOME

Go to the last item in a list    END

Go to the next page    PAGE DOWN

Go to the previous page    PAGE UP

Move left, right, up, or down    ARROW KEYS

Go in and go out of windowed mode    ALT+ENTER

Hi Ian,

Last September I did a couple of posts with keyboard shortcuts for the various HTPC software programs and included a pretty decent (if I do say so myself) cheatsheet with all of the keyboard shortcuts for Media Center (Vista and XP).  There's a HTML version and a nicer, printable PDF version as well if anyone is interested.  I did a quick run-through of the post on the digital lifestyle forum post and I think my cheatsheet has all of the same shortcuts plus a few.  Here's a link:

What I want to do is ... have 3 shortcuts on my desktop.

1.  For a  specific fm radio station ..

What this link to litteerally pull up the particular station directly.

2. For a specific tv channel - to have the shortcut pull up  WMC and already have that channel be selected/chosen.

3. THis one - already done - the usual wmc link.
