Just to prove I'm not COMPLETELY full of it...

Just to prove that I'm not completely making all of this up, I've got an alpha version of a program you may want to try. For those people who love classic arcade action (and have managed to troll eBay to find yourself an arcade machine board or two), I've created MAMECenter, an interface to let you play Multi Arcade Machine Emulator games from your Media Center.

This is an early alpha - it's going to be prettier and more feature packed. I've just added it here because I'd like some feedback from users about how the program is working - your feedback means I'll be able to provide some better posts about how to avoid making the same mistakes I am :)

Hey nice work. Although after installing and running this program I wasn't able to access it through media center, is MAME meant to show up as its own tab by which I can browse my games?  I have the recommended version of MAME and I linked it properly.  Any help or suggestions you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Oh, my mistake, I guess I worded my question rather poorly.  I have MAME working with media center but I can't seem to get to my games.  I set the MAMEcenter to a tab on my Online media but when I open it it just says scanning for roms, then nothing happens.  Any thoughts and/or idea?  Thanks for the attemped help though.

Hmm...try downloading the latest copy. There was a version early on that had a problem with locking up when scanning for roms. The new one should hopefully have this all fixed.
