About Developer Blog
This blog is designed to help new developers understand the concepts behind Media Center Markup Language (MCML) programming.
If you want to know a little more about me, you can read my 'welcome' post here - http://thedigitallifestyle.com/cs/blogs/developer/archive/2007/02/23/welcome-to-the-developer-blog.aspx
If you are thinking about learning how to make Media Center programs in MCML, I'd suggest that you first have a reasonable understanding of a .NET programming language - ideally, C#.
Since MCML lives alongside your own .NET classes, if you are trying to learn both languages at once you are certain to have a tough time. So if you do want to learn MCML and are new to the .NET environment, take the time to learn how to make some basic applications in Windows Forms before you begin working in the tougher MCML environment.
