I noticed that the Sky Player addin for Windows Media Center launched on Tuesday but apparently the official launch is today. On the Windows Media Center team blog they have the official announcement:

A new world of high quality television programming is now open to Windows Media Centre users in the United Kingdom as Sky Player on Windows 7 launches today. That’s more than 500 movies available anytime from SkyMovies and thousands of programmes from 24 channels – all delivered to your PC, on your schedule. There’s plenty of great live sporting action, including Barclay’s Premier League, UEFA Champion’s League football and loads more.

Sky Player brings Windows 7 users a huge range of entertainment, literally thousands of hours of TV and movies on demand, including live sports, drama, documentaries, kids shows, culture and news. As a non Sky subscriber, is there anything for free on here or is it all rent/subscription?
